Polycarboxylate Cement

Alpha-Bond® is a single-component acetone-based bonding adhesive with a dual-cure activator (sold separately) that is designed to bond to multiple substrates for direct and indirect bonding methods. It contains the hydrophilic monomer PMGDM, which allows it to penetrate tubules, intertubules, and peritubular dentin. Use the bonding adhesive labeled bottle for a single-step light cure adhesive. You can confidently bond to self-cure composites and regions inaccessible to light by combining the dual cure activator with the adhesive.

Polycarboxylate cement, developed with SHOFU's unique HY-Agent additive (tannin-fluoride), is intended exclusively for the effective cementation of cast restorations and orthodontic equipment. The HY-Agent reduces post-operative sensitivity while increasing compressive strength.
